Oculous from facebook and samsung VR headsets are now avaiable at 500$ or less, thats impressive. So how VR will affect real estate industry?

Well, it's simple. You are working with a agent. You are going to rent or sell your property.  The agent can create a VR experince. The agent can give the VR kit to the buyer looking for new room and let them experience the whole interior of the house they are buying or the agent can go to the buyers house & do that stuff. 

Without physically visiting to the home they are buying, buyers can now easily view that property sitting at home.

So do the people will stop visiting the properties physically ? NO

Because, the real eye is real eye, nothing going to replace that. But it will save time for the agents by filtering buyers.
 for example, A buyer needs to look 10 properties & he wants room with Washroom attached. Now the agent can show the VR and just sort the rooms which can't meet their requirements. After that they can go for physical visit of those filtered properties.

Imagine you want a property in dubai, but you are in london. Making schedule & travelling will be costlier. But with VR, you can just mark down the places to visit in dubai  for properties. Then contact the property agents over there. If they have VR options, they can send you the vr kit and in London you can experince your property.
