What's My Staten Island - South Shore - Home Value?

Written by Posted On Saturday, 06 May 2017 04:09

One of the wisest decisions I have made in my life was moving to Staten Island more than 40 years ago.

My name is Fred Herman of the Staten Island Properties, your REALTORⓇ and friend that you can talk to if you are contemplating selling your house in South Shore, Staten Island. This is the best season of the year to move to our community.

If you already researched what you need to do to prepare your home for sale, I will say job well done! The next step is to make sure you will be completing the work, in such a way, that potential buyers will see the best you have to offer.

We need to show them the value in your Staten Island home, to get you the highest sale price.

There are basic things you should consider when you sell your home. Let's take a look at your possible questions:

Is my house ready to sell?  How will I know if I'm setting the price right? How much am I going to make? How will I market my home properly? What do I need to do to get good buyers?

These are all important questions that I asked when I decided to sell my own house. The most important decision you will do, at this stage, is to choose the right agent. With the long years of experience and training that I have, I can help you find the right answers to your questions.

Please remember that you will never know how essential a real estate agent is until something goes wrong with the sale. I would like to avoid that from happening.

It can be a long and difficult process, so it's important to think about all the potential effects. The great thing about this is, we can make it a beautiful experience.

Before we begin showing your home, let’s make sure you are a worry-free seller!

Buyers see the external condition of your home as a sign of what is inside. Naturally, you need to keep your windows and floors clean. You may need to repair or replace things such as:  woodwork, wallpaper, showers are repaired. In other words, we need to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative, as early as we can.

Work from the outside going in. That’s the energy we would like to see.

Your lovely, pedestrian neighborhood home in Staten Island is not that difficult to sell. I am confident of that. All houses have different character, if you look at them, you can see their stories. For example, incorporating the flag on the front of your house to create a story.
