WHEN YOUR CLIENT NEEDS A "LIFT UP" - AT LAST AN AFFORDABLE INTERIOR HOME ELEVATOR!

Written by Posted On Wednesday, 26 July 2017 07:41

Many Realtors are meeting an ever increasing number of cients who have an immediate or potential need for an interior home elevator. The lack of an elevator in an otherwise "perfect" resale home that you have presented to your client now becomes a challenge which you are either prepared to address in order to CLOSE the transaction or risk loosing the client. By the way, that scenario can also apply to those of you who are Sales Agents acting on behalf of a home builder or a community developer with a predominance of 2-story homes.

Very few home builders and developers have fully recognized the considerable SALES BENEFITS that follow with an "intelligent foresight" that embraces the needs of individuals and familiies with a real need for "Adaptive Living Solutions".  As a Realtor who is engaging with a new home builder or a community developer you need to bring them up to speed with today's reality! and the real risk of LOSING sales because of an unwillingness to meet those needs.

Let's consider home elevators in the context of a 2-story home OR, a single story home that because of area flood zone regulations  is built (or is going to be built) on a pier-elevated foundation perhsaps 8' - 12' above ground. The need a home lift is NOT just related to a family member who is wheelchair or walker dependent. It includeds folks who have age-related frailty, folks who have a degenerative disease such as MLS or arthritis, cardio-pulmonary disease, folks who have become disabled through an accident, workplace or combat injury, those suffering from imbalance and even from chronic obesity. In other words, varying degrees of disablement that makes climbing stairs either very slow and painful or even impossible,

As a Realtor...particularly those of you who have already secured the SRES designation (Senior Real Estate Specialist) you have a DUTY to yourself, to your client and to your Broker

to enhance the possibility of CLOSING SUCCESS for the BENEFIT of ALL parties!

Until now, the cost range of a traditional shaft-enclosed home elevator is between $40,000 and $65,000+. When added to the cost of the house purchase that may well exceed the financial capacity of the client. It may also have a negative impact on the Mortgage Lender's Appraisal IF similarly upfitted comps cannot be found in the market.

So, what to do? Suggest to your client that they install an unsightly and noisy stairway chair-lift that does NOTHING to add home value and becomes an inconvenience to other family members? OR... do you propose that you client options a "STLTZ" home lift?

Not only are "STILTZ" Lifts about one half of the price of a traditional home elevator but they are shaft-less and entirely self-supporting and can be installed within 1-2 days without the need for any major and expensive interior structural alterations. Four models to choose from including the "hi-style" and visually compelling Due Alta model, and a model with a cabin sized to accommodate and occupied wheelchair along with a family member or an attending care-giver. With a standard installation price range between $22,500 amd $27,500 depending on model selected.  Check our www.stiltzlifts.com for info and videos and you too will be convinced!
