Well, I did. I set it up as an "online journal" to try help me get my head on straight. I was having an incredibly stressful time (I can't go into details) and I had to figure out how to be positive and look ahead. The Blog is called Time For a Fresh Start.
To be honest, it's not my best work, but it definitely served its purpose. I was feel so lost and so depressed, so I decided to chronical my journey and my progress. For a while, I was posting every day or every other day. Then, maybe once a week. I tried my best to keep it positive, but I did include some of set backs along the way. I started to post my passive income reports on there (these show the small amount of money I was making from my main blog) and I used those to motivate me in my journey. After a while, when I started to make a bit more, I posted them on my main blog. I was happy because I found a way to "hide" them so that they didn't clutter my main blog stream (as these reports didn't make sense for most of my website visitors.
From there, I started to do some articles that linked out to my clients' sites to give them a bit more authority. And, I also linked back to my main site. It has definitely helped me, but now I'm evolving my thoughts on this website and want to do a bit more with it over time. So, I need to think of some good quality blog topics that I can put on there. And, also find some other ways to give it some more authority.
So, this will be one of my projects for next week. I really want to figure out how I can really leverage it. I'm hoping to bring on a new marketing client by beginning of January, and I want to have this in better shape by then.
Today, someone suggested doing some round up posts on there, and then maybe others will share the articles and maybe even link back to it. I really have to give this some thought so I can really evolve it.
