I've been rather busy, and it looks like I skipped September's articles, so I will need to get caught up on that soon. I've been making a big push to crank out a bunch of flooring and decor articles, as well as guest posting before the end of the year. Lately, I've been delving into painting as well as floors and other areas within home improvement.
I've also been dialing up my affiliate marketing efforts, and in particular, I'm drying to drive traffic and conversions on my article about the best vacuum to use for hardwood floors. This year, I decided to write my annual hardwood flooring trend post early. I typically do it the very end of December, but this year, I published October 4th and the article is already doing very well. I'm hoping it will be my flagship article throughout the year.
So, for painting, I wrote this article about the best shades of paint for when you're selling your home. This article is relevant for realtors as well as homeowners/sellers. I got lucky as one of my pins went viral on pinterest. And, I also wrote about how to paint your kitchen cabinets the RIGHT way (especially as I see so many misleading tutorials out there as well as inferior products. So, I share the 2 best methods as well as the right tools and paint products to use.
I ventured back into the kitchen this month with an article about the best farmhouse sinks for your kitchen. Farmhouse sinks are rapidly growing and this article explains the ergonomic benefits of farmhouse sinks and it explains the different types of materials used. I also discuss single vs double bowls.
I also converted several articles from one website that I merged into my main one. The main article is the ultimate coffee table guide. There are also individual articles the go in depth for ottoman coffee tables, square coffee tables, round ones and lift tops.
For next month, I'm going to see if I can really start doing some quality blogging on my "journal" site.
