What is Pest Control System?
Pest control is the regulation or supervision of pests that include insects, bugs and all the creatures that pose harm and are adverse for humans. Pest control is at least as old as the system of agriculture, as there has always felt a requirement to keep crops free from pests. In houses, the pests are the rodents, birds, insects, bugs and other organisms that reside by the same habitat with humans and that feed on and spoil goods and belongings. Control of these pests is endeavored through elimination, repulsion, physical removal or by some chemical methods. Types of Pest Control Systems
Biological Control - Biological control is the use of pest hunters, parasites and diseases to help keep pests at controllable levels. We can have a look of examples of the use of such beneficial organisms for biological control as: the syrphid fly which eats aphids in fields and on vegetables. Furthermore, grazing animals which eat weeds.
Chemical Control - Chemical control is the application of pesticides such as insecticides, miticides, fungicides, herbicides, and rodenticides. Although pesticides are very effectual, however, they should be used only when absolutely necessary in order to minimize the risk to the humans. As excessive use of pesticide may make the pest immune to it along with the damage to beneficial organisms. Moreover, the over-usage of chemical methods poses risk to the environment.
Sanitary Control - Sanitary control is adoptive preventive measures to avoid the spread of pests and not giving them space to breed.. This includes steps by destroying plant trash which can harbor pests, controlling vectors by simple techniques which can carry disease, controlling insects and mice to deter their presence in home. For instance, we use peppermint oil mice to get rid of mice.

Identify your pest type such as if it’s a bug, mice, rodent or any other adverse organism then don’t just apply the see and spray technique, rather look for methods that will compel them to leave their place. Once a pest has been identified and possible control methods have been determined, ask yourself that what loss will the pest cause if not controlled and how much will each control method cost and how effective will they be?
