Money-saving Tip 1: Do everything by yourself instead of hiring a removal company. Consider this opt if you plan small furniture removals at short distance, because it is easier to do everything by yourself. Or else, if you move a big house with all your possessions and dozens of boxes, then you have to hire at least man and a van. In this case, you can also save money from the packing of your belongings. Don`t hire a special packing team. Instead, deal with the packing or do some partial packing by yourself.

Money-saving Tip 2: Once you sort and prepare the objects for the move - check and double-check their condition. Be 100% sure that you will use the objects that you move. Meanwhile, sell the useless objects or try to repair and sell for a higher price. This may require quite some time, so do it at least a couple of months before the move. Selling in second-hand stores, in online selling platforms or in local recycling centers - there are plenty of opts to get some benefit from the useless objects.

Money-saving Tip 3: Request at least a couple of quotes from different removal companies if you yet decide to move with professional removal services. The quotes will help compare and select the best offer on the best cost basis.

Money-saving Tip 4: Use old or free boxes, instead of buying all the types and sizes of boxes. Stroll through your house and the cellar or through the garage and look for unused boxes that you can use to store your belongings. Usually, the cellar is the place where you can find some boxes that you are hoarding with years. Not to mention that the original boxes of the electronic devices provide the greatest stability and protection during such a trip.

Money-saving Tip 5: Reduce the expenses of the move itself by choosing the closest route to the new house. Get yourself a map and a GPS, and search for more info about the conditions of all the available routes. Follow the weather forecast and pick up a warm day with perfect weather conditions. Try to avoid moving in too cold or too hot days.

Space-saving Tip 1: Try to minimize the volume and number of the bags and the boxes by using the most famous space-saving packing tips. Check out some examples: Fill all void spaces inside the cabinets and the shelves with light objects; Dismantle furniture to fit in smaller boxes; Spend more time to try different combinations of different objects that can use more efficiently the storage space of their boxes; Use vacuuming bags for storage of the textile objects. On the other hand, the less and the smaller removal boxes means that a smaller van will be required, which may be a great point to cut the overall expenses of the move.

Space-saving Tip 2: Always before hiring a van, try whether your belongings can fit in your normal car. Decide whether a two-way course with your car is better than hiring a larger van for a one-way trip. Sometimes, for example when moving short distance like to the other corner of the same city, it is more appropriate to go back and forth several times. Even the smallest family cars can become suitable for a relocation of numerous big objects. It`s enough to lower the rear seats for extra space, as well as pile boxes on top of each other. Use straps and ropes to secure the piles of removal boxes.
