What role should social media play in your business?

Isn’t that the new-age question in everyone’s head’s? To me, social media is interesting. It is a quickly evolving medium that allows me to stay connected with more people than before. I also have the opportunity to leverage my ideas for the strength of my social influence in my sphere.

Problem that I see many struggle with is the overall strategy of implementing social media into their business. Main reason for this is that many hear the value of social media and quickly believe it is the end-all way that is destined to be the backbone of their company. On the other end of the stick, you have other people who rely on good ole’ personal touch and physical work (calling, meeting with people, etc.) and don’t spend a second on social networks.

As I look out onto my daily actions with others, it seems as though people fail to realize that it is not social media that will define your company, nor is it solely the physical work you put in that will add to your company’s results anymore. In fact:

It is the thoughtful combination and execution of physical prospecting and social media activities that help propel your business forward.

For me, many think, because they see my posts regularly and my business is growing, that social media is the main reason for my growth.

In reality, that concept is far from the truth. My business has growth due to the physical actions I take on a daily basis; which tends to be phone prospecting. The key is for me, that I must know what role social media plays in my business and what prospecting plays in my business. Once I have that information, I need to execute each based off of the desired outcome for each specific activity.

WHAT I DO:  I save you time and energy by guiding you throughout the home buying and selling process.

 

HOW I DO IT:  I connect the dots between what you think you know and what you don't yet know but need to know.  The internet can make us feel like we know it all and don't need a real estate agent, when in fact what it actually does is it gives us much more information than we know what to do with.  I blend my proprietary insight gained through many conversations, observations, and years of experience with what you already know to create a useful action plan to get us from point A to point B.  For all of the moments in between those big moments, I rely on consistent communication to prevent your mind from wandering away, so we can stay laser-focused on the end goal. 

 

WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT:  My approach.  I am a Millennial who understands real estate by internalizing why things work the way they do.  By understanding the "why", I can provide insight on a deeper level and align you with better opportunities in any market.  I get to understanding the "why" by working really hard and caring a lot about my clients and everyone around me.

 

ABOUT ME:  I became passionate about real estate when I thought it was really cool people owned big buildings (Even cooler that people paid the owners of those buildings more than what it cost them to own it).  From that day, I devoted a lot of time, effort, and energy to internalizing how to invest in real estate.  Flash forward to today:  I am not only continually learning on a daily basis, but i am also executing daily while paving my own path to spreading real estate insight and offering reliable real estate representation.
