On September 6, 2013 Realty Times, unveiled it's first new design in over ten years.
"It was our goal to have a simpler, sleeker look, and be able to handle the additional content expected from our new initiative directed at real estate agents," said Realty Times' CEO, Jody Lane.
"We have been programming and testing this technology for some time," Lane added
The new free initiative from Realty Times is called my Realty Times. It is designed for all real estate agents to have a branded version of Realty Times with all of it's content.. All content on my Realty Times will be branded by displaying the agent's photo, logo, contact, and broker information.
That is just the beginning.
All Agents using my Realty Times will have access to publishing their own content to Realty Times. When a visitor clicks on this article, it will link directly into that agent's my Realty Times branded site.
Along with Realty Times' other content and "It is like having your own personal news site" says Lane.
Agents will be permitted to publish articles into three different categories - listing stories, advice from agents, and announcements. Again, all of these articles are published on the Realty Times' home page as soon as they are created by the agent. Furthermore, A given agent's articles will not be published on another agent's my Realty Times site. (Click Here to create your account)
Realty Times' has been testing this new feature to allow agents to publish articles in the listing stories category for several months.
"I believe the agents have an enormous amount of expertise and information that is relevant to the Realty Times' reader," says Lane. "Added with our daily content from our award winning columnists, Realty Times will take real estate news to a new level."
