Written by Posted On Saturday, 12 August 2017 19:15

Arlington, TX – Realtor April Harper of April Harper Realty Group with Keller Williams Realty Arlington has successfully completed How To Build a New Home Niche. This program helps Realtors to better serve their clients with selecting a new home, purchasing a new home and the process of dealing with new construction to close. In doing so, she earned the New Homes Co-Broker (NHCB) designation (http://www.newhomesniche.com). April Harper is no stranger to new homes as she was a New Home Sales Consultant for six years with a National Builder. There she learned the ins and outs of the construction business. She feels the time she spent learning everything about construction from selections, cost, blueprints, design, etc. is a great benefit to her clients who choose to have her by their side when searching for the right builder to build their brand new dream home.

“According to the National Association of Realtors, in Texas 38% of those who purchased a new home in 2016 through a Realtor did so as an option to renovating a resale, “Harper said”. According to a study by New Home Builders Inc. 35% of those shopping resales will consider a new home.

The challenge in today’s market is to be able to serve the new home shopper and resale shopper with the same high level of service. April Harper and her team does this by listening to their client’s needs and wants to make sure that the service they receive from April Harper Realty Group is nothing short of Excellence.

yaueu18ye1 Older Vs Newer Homes Well, as this story shows, there isnt a definitive answer to this question. You should look at each home for it is individual characteristics. Generally, older homes may be in more established neighborhoods offer more ambiance and have lower property tax rates. People who buy older homes, however shouldnt mind maintaining their home and making some repairs. Newer homes tend to use more modern architecture and systems are usually easier to maintain and may be more energy-efficient. People who buy new homes often do not want to worry initially about upkeep and repairs.
