Las Vegas Takes Center Stage in New Real Estate News Show
For those of us living in Las Vegas, we’ve been seeing the housing market come back for quite some time. We know that Las Vegas home sales are rebounding and demand is up. But now the Las Vegas real estate rebound is getting some national attention with a new Las Vegas real estate news show called “Bob Massi is the Property Man.”
The new show is coming to the weekend lineup on Fox News, where the show’s host, Bob Massi, has been a legal analyst since 1998. In addition to Massi’s on-air legal analysis, he has his own law firm and is a Las Vegas real estate attorney. That puts him in a somewhat unique position to offer perspective on the Las Vegas housing market and all of the opportunities and concerns faced by buyers and sellers. It makes a lot of sense that they would opt to focus on Las Vegas for the premiere episode, and it will be interesting to see where they go from here. The premier aired on Fox News on July 11th at noon (Eastern), which is its regular timeslot. The show will also be re-aired every Sunday at 3pm.

Joining Massi will be other local experts. They will tackle real estate topics, giving advice to buyers and sellers. They will give housing trend information and pricing details in each market. They will also be profiling people who were affected by the housing crisis – taking a look at the hardships they faced, and giving them advice going forward.
It’s great to see Las Vegas as the highlight for this initial episode of “Bob Massi is the Property Man.” With the backing of a major network, it really speaks to the current strength of the Las Vegas real estate market. And we’re seeing that strength on the ground here too. Demand is keeping up. Data from the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors is due soon, but I’ve seen prices hold steady lately as well. Most houses are selling within around 60 days, and some of those that are not may be able to move more quickly if they were priced better. (It’s critical to work with a realtor to get the pricing advice to price a home appropriately.)
Stay tuned – we’ll see how Las Vegas is treated on the show, and see what advice Massi has to offer and whether it aligns with what we’re seeing in the market.
