Realtor Kayla Oliver-Pratt, MBA, GRI, NHCB Earns New Home Co-Broker Designation

Written by Posted On Friday, 17 February 2017 15:43

Orlando-  Realtor Kayla Oliver-Pratt of Pratt Realty Group (SouthWest Orlando), successfully completed the How to build a New Homes Niche course, recently approved by the Florida Real Estate Commission for 3 hours continuation education credit.  In doing so, she also earned the New Homes Co-Broker designation (NHCB).

According to the National Association of Realtors, 40% of those who purchased a new home from 2014 through a realtor did so as an option to renovating a resale.

Additionally, according to the study by New Home Builders Inc. 35% of those shopping re sales will consider a new home. The challenge in today's market is to be able to serve a new home shopper and a resale shopper with the same high level of service. The National Association of realtors (NAR) says that approximately 50% of new construction home buyers will enter into making one of the largest purchases of their lives without representation or consultation of a real estate agent who can protect their interest and potentially negotiate to ensure a fair market price for the new home.

Don't make this mistake and go it alone! If you are in the market for a resale or thinking about a new home, please call or text her at 407-276-3283 at your convenience.

Kayla T. Oliver-Pratt

Originating from the Bahamas, I moved to Central Florida in 1987, got married and started my family. Thirty years later I now live in beautiful West Orange County, Orlando with my husband and three wonderful children. I am a passionate and compassionate mother, wife, military veteran, realtor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. In 2011 I graduated Cum Laude from Ashford University with a Bachelor degree in Organizational Management and later achieved an MBA. As a U.S. Army Veteran, I epitomize core values of integrity, diligence, attention to detail, and hard work in every aspect of my life, particularly during real estate transactions. As part owner of a sub-contracting construction company for over 20 years I developed a strong passion for real estate. That passion for real estate coupled with my compassion for helping families find their perfect home has led me to become a licensed Florida Realtor.

By making an industry transition from commercial construction to real estate sales, I am passionate about the real estate needs and goals of every client, particularly Veterans. With a strong belief in giving back to my community, I have partnered with various charitable organizations that are near and dear to my heart, which include The American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Hospital, SPCA of Central Florida, Home for Heroes and Daily Bread Kitchen. During my personal time I enjoy reading, sewing, cruising, movie watching, networking and strolling the theme parks. It would be my absolute pleasure to be your real estate agent and to show you the best real estate Central Florida has to offer.
