![]() The Henry S. Miller, Realtors team gathered recently at the Prestonwood Country Club in Dallas to pay tribute to the company's 1997 Super Star Producers and celebrate record sales. "We reached $2 billion in sales last year because our sales associates continue to do the right things the right way," said Virginia E. Cook, president of Henry S. Miller, Realtors. She praised the sales associates for remaining true to the principles established by company founder Henry S. Miller. "The Miller history lies in a commitment to quality, attention to customer service, and a strong criteria for how things are done," Cook said. "The people in this room are devoted to these principles, and we thank you." Cook was joined in her tribute to the sales associates by Henry S. Miller Jr., chairman emeritus, and Vance Miller, chairman and president of the Henry S. Miller Companies. Leading the 1997 Super Stars were Top Company Individual Producer Jennie Ling of the Highland Park office; Top Company Team Producers Paul and Joetta Guta of the Preston Campbell office; Top Company Individual Lister Rusty Graham of the DeSoto office; Top Company Team Listers Linda and Fred Lanham of the Preston Campbell office; and Top Company Referrals Sent & Closed Richard Reissler of the Irving office. Top Company Individual Producer Jennie Ling, who joined Henry S. Miller, Realtors in 1975, has been the individual company top producer 10 out of the last 12 years. In addition to being a multimillion-dollar producer, she opened the company's Preston Royal office as vice president in 1980 and in 1992, the Highland Park office, where she continues to serve as vice president. Her additional honors include the Lois Hair Bernays Award, one of the Greater Dallas Association of Realtors' highest awards. "I sell by the golden rule. The word that does it for me is empathy. Putting myself in someone else's place and everything else flows from that. All the ingredients that I derive from my 25 years of experience, comes from empathy with my clients. My clients tell me that I treat them like they are my only client. They don't care what you know, they want to know that you care," says Ling. Top Company Team Producers Paul and Joetta Guta, who began their partnership as grade-school sweethearts in Cleveland, have increased their production annually to sell more than 560 homes in the last 19 years. With Henry S. Miller since 1989, they have carved a strong niche in the Plano/Dallas corporate relocation business by continuously going the extra mile for their customers. Top Company Individual Lister Rusty Graham has received the award for the second consecutive year. His efforts also have been recognized by the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae), which named him Rookie of the Year in 1996. He has been on the Miller team since 1995. Top Company Team Listers Linda and Fred Lanham offer 18 years of real estate experience and a multimillion-dollar track record backed by hundreds of satisfied clients. Linda has placed among the company's top 25 associates for the last eight years and has earned the CRS and GRI designations. Before joining his wife of 33 years in the real estate business, Fred was vice president of sales and marketing for a Fortune 100 National Company. Top Company Referrals Sent and Closed was awarded to 28-year veteran Richard Reissler, who has been a Henry S. Miller star since 1981 and the Top Producer of the Irving office 14 of the last 17 years. Specializing in the relocation market, Reissler is an expert on Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex communities, from Plano to North Fort Worth. Also recognized at the Prestonwood Country Club were the company's director, presidential and chairman producers, with a total of 400 multimillion-dollar producers receiving awards. Additionally, the company's top-producing offices were announced. The Preston Campbell office, led by Vice President Heidi Holman, was #1. The North Dallas office, led by Vice President Sheila Rice, was #2; and the Fort Worth office, led by Vice President Mary Jo Berryman, was #3. Henry S.
