![]() Bo Derek, recently widowed by the death of her husband, producer John Derek, is resuming her career with a new TV series, the "Wind on the Water", and she is selling the ranch estate that she shared with her husband for over 18 years. The Burtons at the time were the highest paid actors as well as the most notorious couple in Hollywood. Many of the custom made furnishings ordered by the couple are included in the sale. The home offers bay, river and jungle views as well as a swimming pool which was commissioned and built by Burton for Taylor. She is offering her West Cornwall (Litchfield County, Connecticut ) home for sale at $1.2 million. After purchasing the 40-acre property in 1991 and purchasing 28 adjoining acres for $275,000 the following year for a total of $1, 050,000, Ms. Goldberg will make a nice profit on the home. The property includes a 4,000 sq.ft. Colonial style home and a five-stall horse barn. The home is listed with Seymour Surnow, with William Raveis Real Estate in Washington Depot. |
