A REALTOR Wins Ben Stein's Money
by Ann Rusterby

It’s a wonder that this house has been around for so many years.

Ben Stein, host of Comedy Central’s "Win Ben Stein’s Money," recently bought a home in Beverly Hills for a hair under $2 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Although Stein owns several Los Angeles-area homes, he plans to live in this one after he has completed remodeling it.

The 4,000 square-foot home is a Spanish-style structure built in 1929. It includes three bedrooms and a maid’s quarters. Stein says he plans to update the house, but keep its original styling.

Any questions?

Does anyone remember Shadoe Stevens? Well, you can bet his Realtor does.

The former announcer from "Hollywood Squares," who also played a supporting role on the television comedy "Dave’s World," has listed his Los Angeles canyon-area home for $2.25 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Shadoe and his wife feel cramped in their sparse five-bedroom, 4,500 square-foot home on 1.2 acres. Despite the pool, lighted tennis court and playhouse, there just is not enough to satisfy their kids.

The couple has said they wish to move to a larger home in Beverly Hills, where there are sidewalks for their children, the L.A. Times reported.

The home was built in 1951 and later updated. It is country English-style.
