Mobile (AL)--Martin J. Rueter, former Senior Vice-president of Century 21 International and Regional Director of the franchise sales organization's Mid-South states for the past six years, has announced his resignation after 22 years with the company. With his new partner, Kirk D. Staff, he has formed Timeless Technologies, Inc., a Mobile-based firm whose purpose is to service the computerized industry and attendant computer-driven businesses. Specifically and initially, Rueter, executive vice president of the company, will use his 38 years of real estate and management expertise to direct Timeless Technologies' expanding focus on training. He has designed a comprehensive and advanced computer workshop program that "speaks the language of real estate sales professionals and puts them miles ahead of their contemporaries in the industry--quickly and efficiently," he says. The training series is being launched in the Southeast and will be available at locations throughout the country as well. "There is a need for affordable, consistently held real estate training," he says, emphasizing the importance of E-commerce and computer "whiz-dom" to the sales field. Rueter was responsible for implementing the Century 21 sales training programs while a member of the organization's international staff, as well as for introducing the Commercial/Investment and Relocation programs that contributed to the company's growth. When he took over the reins in the Mid-South at the beginning of 1993, the region (Alabama, NW Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee) was "dead last" in production. Growing in 1995 to include Kentucky, Century 21 of the Mid-South was accelerated under his direction to among the top regions in the nation, where it stands today. Staff, as president of Timeless Technologies, Inc., directs the information systems consulting and service organization in its program to rescue mid-sized businesses from the coming Y2K disaster, focusing on the AS/400 computers. The firm, located at 917 Western America Circle in Mobile, also offers related training and service for the next century. They can be reached at 334-345-9586. |
