Second generation of complete MLS Internet/Intranet solution unveiled

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A focus group of Realtors® is currently beta testing the second generation of Fusion MLSä , the complete MLS Internet/Intranet solution developed by the West Coast’s Realty Plus Online. MetroList Services, Inc., of Sacramento chose Realtorsâ with extensive knowledge of the Internet to conduct the three-week test.

New features in Version 2.0 include a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) wizard that allows an agent to type in value adjustments, client information and subject property description. An extensive email notification process enables Realtorsâ to effectively manage multiple buyers and sellers. And the software's marketing "arsenal" has been expanded to allow for multiple/printable property lists, fliers and reports. The program's online drag-and-drop feature, which allows for instant customization, has also been further enhanced, as has the user interface's intuitive look-and-feel.

Fusion MLSä works with or replaces existing MLS systems, seamlessly. Additional tools include a searchable address book, contact manager and calendar. Financial calculators are provided along with buyer and seller pre-qualification forms and estimated net sheets.

The open architecture of Fusion MLSä accommodates any property type and allows an MLS to dynamically control many system changes. The product is available as a "turn-key" or full-service system and is scaleable to grow with an MLS.

"The response to Fusion has been overwhelming," said Kelly Pantis, President of Realty Plus Online. "Real estate organizations around the globe are initiating contact with us regarding our MLS Internet solutions. Because our product speaks for itself, we've been able to focus our efforts on further research and development rather than expand our marketing campaign."

As for MetroList's part in the beta testing, "We appreciate them working with us, taking the time and effort to gather agents' feedback," Pantis said. "That's what we want: to meet the needs of working Realtorsâ such as those in the focus group."

MetroList's public access web site, www.metrolistMLS.com, was developed by Realty Plus Online in 1996. In February 1999 property hunters requested more than 620,000 active page views of real property for sale.
