San Francisco, Calif. - January 19, 2000 - CompleteHome.com, Cendant Corporation's (NYSE: CD) soon-to-launch Internet portal which will offer a broad range of home-related services, today announced that it has changed its name and will now be branded as Move.com. The new name is more in line with the company's vision to guide consumers throughout the moving process by assisting them with everything they need before, during and after their move. "Our aim at Move.com is to change the way people move - from planning a move through living in a new home," said Move.com CEO Sarah Nolan. "'Move.com' is short, memorable and the perfect brand name for our new Internet services portal. Our new name will add even more power to the major media campaign that we will initiate in connection with the launch of the site." |
