RE/MAX and iPIX Enter Into Agreement

Internet Pictures Corporation (NASDAQ: IPIX, "iPIX"), a leader in global visual content and infrastructure for the Internet, announced today that global real estate franchisor, RE/MAX International, has agreed to a three-year contract making iPIX the exclusive provider of virtual tours to the RE/MAX network.

"This agreement will ensure RE/MAX continues to lead the industry in technology and help us provide our Associates and their customers the best technology to improve the home buying and selling process," said Dave Liniger, RE/MAX chairman and co-founder. "iPIX offers the best overall solution for real estate agents to showcase homes online and iPIX(tm) Virtual Tours provide agents a powerful tool. In essence, they can offer a 24-hour "open house," reaching people all over the world. iPIX(tm) Virtual Tours makes still photographs of real estate virtually obsolete on the Internet."

The agreement brings end-to-end visual content solutions to more than 58,000 RE/MAX Sales Associates in over 3,400 offices worldwide and begins the expansion of iPIX(tm) Virtual Tours for real estate into the European market. RE/MAX showcases iPIX(tm) Virtual Tours on its Web site, www.remax.com.

Concurrent to this announcement, Pamela Alexander, CEO and Executive Vice-President of Operations for four RE/MAX Regions representing 9,000 sales associates, announced the purchase of more than 50,000 iPIX(tm) Virtual Tours for some 10,000 RE/MAX Associates in her regions across the U.S. and Canada. "iPIX is the best way to show real estate listings on the Internet," said Alexander. "With the growth in the number of home buyers starting their search online, iPIX(tm) Virtual Tours give RE/MAX Associates a competitive advantage by providing the online shopper incredible views of a home- and that is a vital first step towards a sale."

RE/MAX uses iPIX's Internet-based visual content to allow potential buyers to teleport themselves into any home or commercial property for sale or lease. Navigating with a mouse, viewers can look in any direction as if they were in the property. Unlike flat photos, iPIX(tm) Virtual Tours allow viewers to change the point of view, zoom in on a favorite item, or zoom out for a wider perspective. iPIX offers RE/MAX Sales Associates a full service package for capturing virtual tours and posting them to the most visited sites on the Web.
