Realty Executives International has announced new franchise owners for the company's office in Plano, Texas. Under the new ownership of Ron and Becky Barber, the office will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, May 31 with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.

Realty Executives of Plano is located in the heart of North Texas, and will serve Dallas and Forth Worth areas including Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Carrollton, Lewisville, Irving, Flower Mound, Coppell and Colleyville.

"We are proud to welcome the Barbers to the Realty Executives franchise family," said Bill Powers, chief operating officer of Realty Executives International. "Their background experience and management expertise align with our company ideals, and we are thrilled to have them on board."

Prior to purchasing the Plano office, the Barbers managed a successful real estate group within their company's office. The Barber Group was one of the top-producing real estate groups in the office and was recognized with several industry awards. After two years as The Barber Group, the couple became interested in purchasing a franchise from an international real estate company and began negotiations with Realty Executives International.

The Barbers bring to Realty Executives more than 25 years of residential real estate experience. Currently, Realty Executives of Plano serves as the training facility for Successful Relocation Representative designation training, a rare program in the area, which recently was recognized by The Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors (REBAC).
