Local Realtors say older as well new homes are selling in Easton, Connecticut where eighteenth century beauty and seclusion meets new construction and developments.
"If you are looking to live among the 7,000 residents of Easton, here are some statistics that might be of help," says Szablak. "There is not enough inventory in the lower-priced ranges here, however new construction seems to be at an abundance, and still shows slightly increasing prices.
Explain the Moris, "For the past three months, a total of 18 single family-detached homes sold in Easton. The average "sale price" was $639,161. This is a decrease of 12.1 percent over the average "sale price" of $726,851 for the prior three months, June - August. The average single-family detached home took three days less to sell than during the past three months than the prior three months. They advise, "Based on the above and our experience of working with buyers and sellers in Easton on a daily basis, we conclude that the real estate market in the Town is currently very much in balance." |
