Perk Your Profits By Powerfully Pointing Your Parked Domains
by Michael J. Russer

Brian Chase (Roy Wheeler Realty Co., Charlottesville, VA) did exactly that. Here's his secret of how to powerfully amplify the marketing effect of your domains, without spending a dime!

Following my recommendation, Brian used a service called MyDomain.com to point all these new domain names to his current site for free! You see, most ISPs will charge for pointing a domain name, however using MyDomain.com you can point as many domains as you want to any sites you please and at no cost -- all controlled from your Web browser. Now anytime someone types in one of Brian's power domains, they are immediately taken to his primary Web site.

Pointing To Success

But wait -- it gets even better! MyDomain.com offers two versions of domain name pointing / redirection. The "standard" mode will take a visitor to the pointed site, but then show the actual URL of the site. For example, if you click on http://www.mrinternet.info (a recently acquired domain name of mine) it will immediately take you to my primary www.russer.com site showing the "russer.com" domain in the address bar.

However if you use the "stealth" mode option, the URL never changes in the address bar -- which will blow your mind when you first see it. For example, clicking on http://www.epowersuccess.com (another of my domains) will take you to a very recognizable site that is definitely not mine, yet "epowersuccess.com" will always show in the address bar.

FOR GEEKS ONLY - How It Works
In "stealth" mode MyDomain.com creates an invisible frame around the target site thus giving the appearance that the pointed domain is the address of the target site.

Okay very cool, but why would you ever use the "stealth" mode you might ask? Brian, once again (smart guy, that Brian!) showed how it could be used to never lose the goodwill and awareness he puts into his neighborhood sites.

You see, some of these Realtor neighborhood site services that create exclusive neighborhood Web sites for Realtors insist on keeping the domain name. Face it, you are held hostage by the company that built the site if they own the domain name, no matter how much effort you put into creating awareness and community within the neighborhood for which it was built (does "highest bidder" mean anything to you?) This can't happen however if you purchase your own neighborhood domain name and point it (in stealth mode) to the actual URL of the neighborhood site.

Unlimited E-mail Addresses

And just when you think it can't get any better -- it does! Because for each domain you point through MyDomain.com, you can create an unlimited number of different e-mail addresses based on the pointed domain. Each of these addresses can be forwarded to any other real e-mail address you may have. Just CLICK HERE to see the entire extent of this powerful feature.

If you think about this for a moment, the possibilities are endless. Especially when working with some autoresponder services that insist on using their domain name within the autoresponder address.

Putting It Into Action

Think about this for a moment. This one idea (that costs you nothing, by the way) results in an incredibly awesome way to extend the power and use of domain names to generate more business for you.

Now don't just sit there thinking what a great idea MyDomain.com is (which you will get to, someday). Go do what Brian did and take action -- NOW!
