Cincinnati-Dayton Towns Report Buyer's Market
by Blanche Evans

In Warren and Montgomery counties, Ohio towns are still in a buyer's market, says a local Realtor.

Dayton

"Located in Montgomery County with Cincinnati to the south and Lebanon and Springboro in between," says Realtor Dale Schmidt. "Dayton is one of many cities and communities where conditions remain in favor of buyers. It's a great time to move especially, with very attractive interest rates."

Cincinnati

"Cincinnati is located in Hamilton County, with Warren County to the north and the Ohio River to the south," says Schmidt. "It is made up of many small communities in outlying areas."

About the market, Schmidt says, "Activity has picked up. Out-of-town buyers are moving here at a consistent rate. It's still a buyer's market, but a good time to buy because of interest rates."

Springboro

South of Dayton, north of Lebanon, and west of Waynesville, Springboro is close to Interstate 75, says Schmidt.

"Springboro is one of the fastest growing communities in Warren County," explains Schmidt, "and is conveniently located between Cincinnati and Dayton in southwest Ohio! Attractive housing and excellent schools set amid rolling farmland make Springboro the choice of many families coming into the area. The city's master plan controls expansion and preserves the small-town qualities valued by residents. A six-block section of South Main Street has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places."

Lebanon

Located in fast-growing Warren County, Mason is to the southwest and Springboro is to the northwest.

"Lebanon has many quality homes on the market," suggests Schmidt. "Selling conditions are in favor of buyer's market. Interest rates are very attractive. Great time to buy!"
