Brokers are paying it forward. First, Gary Keller writes a book on how to become a millionaire real estate and opens training sessions to competitors. Now Ed Krafchow and David Cobo, leaders of Prudential California Realty, are sharing business success secrets with competing brokers in a one-of-a-kind seminar. With space limited to only 80 broker/owners, Krafchow and Cobo will host what promises to be a high-level gathering of broker/owners. The event will focus on advice provided by top consultants on the three areas most brokers are too busy to attend to - wealth-building, strategic planning, and valuation. The seminar is called "24-Hours of Consultancy," and it will be held February 16th through February 17th, 2004 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. Krafchow's vision for the event, he says, is that he is inviting broker/owners to spend a day with top industry consultants. But these aren't ordinary consultants - they are the same folks who assisted Krafchow and Cabo in their success. According to Krafchow, attendees will receive $10,000 worth of value for $99. “Most brokers spend the majority of their time doing tasks associated with running their day-to-day business,” reasons Krafchow. "This will provide broker/owners with a unique opportunity to learn about the issues that are critical to building long-term financial security: wealth building, strategic planning, and valuation.” The event will begin on February 16 with a networking event from 6 – 9 p.m. The full day of consultancy will take place on Tuesday, February 17 from 8:30 – 5 p.m. Speakers will include:
"There will also be a panel on verticalization, and round-table discussion session on technology, marketing and training," promises Krafchow. It's clear from the program that the event will be well worth attending. It's also clear from the pricing that Krafchow and company have no intention of getting rich in the seminar business. "It's his way of giving back for the wonderful success he's had," says a spokesperson, "He followed the advice of these consultants and would like others to experience the same success."
