Ron Chromey (Reporting on New City, NY.) - Property values in New City remain strong, with high demand due to low inventory and low interest rates. The median price of a home in New City is $522,000 and there are currently less than 150 homes available for sale. Homes range from the mid $400's to luxury homes starting in the $1.5 - $2 Million range. Most homes in this market sell for 97 percent or more of the listing price. More->



Ruben Garmyn (Reporting on Bend, OR.) - Homes in Bend are the most expensive, on average, in the state, according to a new survey. The average price for a 2200 sqft. house with four bedrooms, one and a half baths, a family room, and a two car garage in Bend out-priced homes in Portland, Eugene, Medford and Salem. Increased prices for lots are driving up the prices on homes thus making them more difficult to afford. More->



Michelle Francis (Reporting on Las Vegas, NV.) - According to the National Association of REALTORS, Las Vegas was ranked 29th nationwide in appreciation for homes over the past year with a 12.93 percent appreciation rate. Nevada had the greatest increase in sales in the nation with a 37 percent increase. Supply in quality resale Las Vegas homes is the shortest we have seen in seven years. More->
