Tulsa, Oklahoma, is being reported as the seventh most affordable housing market in the country. The 2006 average sales price was $153,000 -- and experts are noting that Tulsa has seen from a 5.7 to 10 percent appreciation rate this year, despite a reduction in sales. The average price this summer was around $163,000. "With the majority of homes being priced below $150,000 Tulsa's whole market is considered a sellers market. ...
