Market Conditions
by Realty Times Staff

Tulsa, Oklahoma, is being reported as the seventh most affordable housing market in the country.

The 2006 average sales price was $153,000 -- and experts are noting that Tulsa has seen from a 5.7 to 10 percent appreciation rate this year, despite a reduction in sales. The average price this summer was around $163,000.

"With the majority of homes being priced below $150,000 Tulsa's whole market is considered a sellers market. ... Above this price range homes waver between from being in a weak buyers market to a balanced market."
