Diana Russell, our market expert for the East Bench and University area of Provo, Utah, reports the local market seems to be slowing down. Russell says the average time a home spends on the market has increased to 95 days, with prices dropping roughly 5 percent. Combined with that, Russell has seen a drop in sales activity of 47 percent over the previous quarter. The average price of a home in the area is $382,283. One bright spot though, Russell says the condo market continues to remain strong, with an average sales price of $213,247, up from $192,964 in the first quarter.
