FHA Refund Information (FREE)
Question: We bought our home with FHA financing. We understand that we may be entitled to a refund. How do we find out?
Answer: Once you sell the home, have your FHA case number and call the FHA at 703-235-8117 to see if you are entitled to a refund. FHA mortgages are grouped together in giant "pools." Each pool pays out claims, and money that remains can be refunded to homeowners. If a pool's claims absorb all the money in the fund, however, then there is no money to refund.
