What Is A "Bedroom?"
Question: What is a "bedroom?"
Answer: A bedroom is not merely where someone sleeps. Please check local zoning regulations. They may require an external exit (such as a window with a bottom sill not more than so many inches above the ground). Or, they may require that a "bedroom" cannot itself be an entrance or exist to another "bedroom."
If a room is not a "bedroom" but is used for that purpose there could be substantial insurance problems.
