I'm sorry but maybe in your state you can join voluntarily, but not in mine.
Here if you are not a member to the board of REALTORS, you cannot have access to MLS or SUPRA, and in order to join the local board you have to be a member of the NAR.
So yes I am being forced to pay dues to the NAR.
