Tell Us More, Appraiser
Posted By: OurBroker - 03/01/2001 04:35 AM
Hi --
I keep reading the posting from Appraiser and the more I look at it the more I would like to know more.
Appraiser writes: "Locally, I have seen HUD remove at least ten appraisers from Baltimore alone. The removals in my area exceeds all of last years sanctions from HUD across the entire US."
Given that your profile says Appriaser is a "Real estate appraiser from Delaware in the business for ten years," why is Baltimore "local?"
Are you now in private practice in Baltimore?
You say there were 10 removals in "Baltimore alone" and that "The removals in my area exceeds all of last years sanctions from HUD across the entire US."
Are you saying that in the ENTIRE U.S. there were fewer than 10 removals out of more than 30,000 appraisers? If yes, does that not suggest most appraisers, most of the time, do a good job?
Is "my area" Baltimore or Delaware?
Thanks.
Peter
