Homes.com being a GREAT company...

For the sake of many many agents and brokerages, I hope Tango is right, that they will not go under.
However, simple economics comes into play now. They had to file Chapter 11 because they cannot pay their creditors, and once they did that, they started losing customers, which decreases the likelyhood that they can pay them. They either need to find more venture money or will need to make themselves very lean and mean. In order to do that, they probably will have to cut back in areas where the rubber meets the road, personnel.
In speaking with many of their former employees, the consensus is they were a GREAT company, at least to work for. Unfortunately the customers we have spoken with over the last year, and especially of late, don't share the same opinion. Of course, I don't have to tell anyone which of these opinion groups pay the bills.
I don't want to be a basher, but what I have heard personally lately gives me reason for great concern about their survival.
