Peter Miller has come up with an exellent idea. There's a great deal that could and should be done to improve the professionalism of real estate licensees. This is a modest, realistic first step. The only criterion we should use in deciding upon appropriate changes is this: what's in the best interests of the consumer. Much too often, decisions seem to be based upon: what's best for real estate practitioners? I'm going to send Peter's article along to our state Real Estate Commissioner. By the way, as Book Review Editor for The Real Estate Professional magazine I've read and reviewed everything that Peter Miller has written in the past ten years (a lot.) In my opinion, he's the most articulate, thought provoking author in our ranks (excluding me, of course.) Dr. Ken Edwards, Broker, Professional Associates, Corvallis, Oregon. Author: Your Successful Real Estate Career (3rd), American Management Association.
