Questions About Your Transactions
Posted By: Francois Gregoire - 11/17/1999 08:19 PM
Thanks for responding Steele. Curious about any additional information you could provide about your experiences with your three recent FHA transactions.
How recent were they?
Were there any repairs required as a condition of the loan being insured?
If repairs were required, was the Notice to Homebuyer easily understood by the purchaser? Was the VC Sheet (Notice to the Lender) provided to the buyer also?
Did the buyer get an home inspection?
Were any inspection in addition to the home inspection required? (heat, air conditioning, electrical, roof, plumbing)
If the appraisal was completed after September 10, 1999, was the appraisal fee higher than fees charged prior to September, 10?
The September 10, 1999 date is important. Only after that date are the new forms and property inspection criteria required.
Thanks for any additional information you can provide.
