After all, every real estate "perrofessional" passed the state licensing exam and over 2/3 only work part time anyway. Why would they need or want any supervision? Why would a Broker want to be responsible for supervising "independent contractors" whom he seldom even sees?
Perhaps this is why so many Brokers call themselves DESIGNATED REALTORS. They don't want to supervise or be involved with the responsibilities involved with actually being the Broker in Charge. They hope that consumers and their lawyers won't recognize the difference (heh-heh-heh).
