Were Homes.com Salespeople Left Holding The Check?

Former EMC

I am also a former Homes.com employee; I totally agree with "Tiger". Having personally met "Tiger", my opinion is that "Tiger's" integrity level is the tops! Speaking for myself, I have always been a salesperson also with a high level of integrity, never selling something without believing in it. I was always impressed with Homes.com's website applications. If I was sold a bill of goods from management, then shame on them. As far as the Prep software, most of my clients were pleasantly surprised that it was offered free (at first), but did not base their purchase of a Homes.com website on this fact; it was a nice perk. Whenever I told them that there were glitches in the software and shipment would be delayed, they understood and were willing to wait until they were worked out.
To say that Homes.com was a scam is totally misleading. To say that Homes.com eMC's sold at all costs is also misleading...did some do this? Possibly, but I certainly don't think so and I know that I didn't. To say that the management of Homes.com is to blame, quite possibly the only reason.
Am I very sorry for what has happened, yes, of course...it WAS a great job with many great people working there, all striving to make this company a positive influence. Am I out a lot of money, yes, I am and that is my problem, which I don't expect pity from anyone. Am I bitter towards the management team? You bet! Am I confident that the new CEO will rectify the problems...since I am not privy to the inner workings, I can only say that I am hopefully confident.
Should you hang in there while they work out their problems? That is your choice; make it wisely....
