Lawsuit Initiated by Buyer Who Paid $1 Million Over Listing Price

Still a farce

Of course brokers are still responsible for their agents' actions. No one is disputing this fact. My point is that I can in no way see how these two agents broke the law. They BOTH worked for their own respective client's best interests. It's sad when people just ASSUME that because these agents work for the same broker that they would not do that. I doubt seriously that the agent that lost out on a commission is calling up the other agent congratulating him.

If this person that paid $1,000,000 over list price felt the price was too high, he had the option of not bidding on this home. It seems to me that this person wanted the home but not the price it took to get it. Totally frivolous in my opinion.

Lastly, you assumed I am in real estate....I am not nor am I working towards such a career. I am a CPA. I just feel that people should use common sense on these types of deals and it doesn't take a Realtor certification to see that.
