Response To: Should Buyers' Brokers Present Offers Directly to Sellers? (Cecil G. Daniels - 09/13/2000)

Of course, the reverse should be true

As a longtime buyer agent I have always tried to present offers in person. The good news is that this is a custom in our area. But for areas where this is not the custom an interesting counterargument comes up. If a buyer agent is allowed to present to the seller (and their agent) should not the listing agent now have an equal right to present any counteroffer to the buyer? The answer would seem to be "quid pro quo".
