They are immaterial at this juncture. Totally immaterial. Anyone reading the financials fully realizes that the company is financially "toast" near term and any possible turnaround will require time and patience. It costs valuable time and money to respond to all shareholders now. You must weigh the idea that the individual, and I do mean INDIVIDUAL, running this company right now has more on his respective plate than appeasing poor Blanche or shareholders with responses. He first has to direct his energies to working capital management, employee and business retention, and strategic planning. Keep in mind that the current individual has ZERO financial stake in the organization right now. Making shareholder demands of somebody who inherited a nightmare scenario is a bit much at this juncture.
Keep in mind that this individual has his own business to run and maintain at the same time. Keep in mind that the ones that should have been more forthright with shareholders all along was Giaimo. He brokered the Homemark deal. He never once explained the deal in any cogent terms. He took a ludicrous severance package for running his own company into the financial toilet. To think that this visionary has wound up at Realty Times, with Blanche, seems somehow appropriate to me now..
I was simply bashing Blanche for her lack of journalistic integrity. Give Chaffee time, something that Giaimo and Homemark certainly never did. At least you can rest assured that the new guy can't make things much worse, right?
