Kevin --
You write that: "You suggest in this statement that " trust and Competence " are a function of how large a fee is charged for the delivery of real estate services.Yet you present no evidence,to support such a premise. To put your premise in the jargon of today's political scene:"
Actually, I don't suggest anything of the kind. Here's what I said:
"Is price an issue? Sure. But trust and competence trump price, as the marketplace has shown."
My comment simply does not infer or imply the conclusion you have reached. It does not suggest in any way that trust and confidence are a by-product of a given fee structure.
What the article does say is that price is an issue, but not the only issue, consumers consider when selecting a broker. What other issues do consumers consider? Trust in the broker and a belief that the broker is competent and influence consumer choices.
All the best.
