Realtors: How does the coffee smell now!?

Of course you are not getting "your leads"! They aren't ours! They are Homestores. The only way to justify their incredible share price is to make lots of money with lots of new revenue streams that YOU and I are going to pay for in referral fees and participation charges.

If you think that you are getting paid for the REALTOR.com listings you are mistaken. Some got golden stock options - you didn't. Some get paid a fee for participation (our MLS's) - we don't.

I list my properties on realtor.com (for now), homefinders, and a proprietary site that does give me leads. If you are relying on realtor.com to be your internet site you are a fool. Data from your listings will be driven to anyone who will pay a fee for it: builders, franchises, other agents, fsbo discounters, it doesn't matter.

We have sold our birthright for a bowl of pottage and we had better shut up and not complain.
