Bad Buyer's Agent Turns Buyer Off

Buyer Representation
Posted By: Leslie Matthews - 08/13/2000 11:14 PM

When working as an Exclusive Buyer's Agent, about how many clients do you work with at a time? I currently list and sell and usually work as the buyer's agent. I find it difficult to work with several buyer clients at a time because they don't seem to understand when you already have an appointment for the time they want to see you. If I am representing them, I feel guilty when I can't meet at their time preference. How do you handle prospect overload? Refer them out? Keep in touch with them all and wait for them to "get more serious" before signing an agreement to represent them? I enjoy working with buyers more than sellers, but find that it is hard to control my time as well as I can with sellers. If you have any suggestions on how to fine tune my buyer's representation please let me know. Thank you.
