Re: Of What Value to a Buyer's Agent

We feel we've made significant improvements for buyers' agents with i-LEAD XL and plan several more enhancements over time. Three primary features that have been added to i-LEAD- XL really benefit buyers agents:
1) We feel that XLerator is a great prospecting tool for buyer's agents. It was designed in part to enable buyer's agents communicate with users searching for properties in their area. It can tell you who is searching for what types of homes on Realtor.com and provides the ability to communicate back and create a customized, personalized message to try to turn those buyers into clients. 2) The HomeFinder tab now appears on an i-LEAD XL Silver site -- consumers can go through a set of pull down menus and define the exact home they're looking for (bed, bath, price, location, etc.) and the information is e-mailed to the buyer's agent. The buyer's agent can then present the consumer with listings in the specified area that meet their criteria.
3) The new Showcase Tabs are another great opportunity to highlight your capabilities as a buyer's agent. You can include recently sold homes, testimonials from satisfied customers, really anything you want to differentiate yourself or your personality with.
I'd agree that agents have a lot to do - we talk to them daily and we did extensive focus groups, one-on-one interviews, and informal polling of the offices and agents we visit in the field. That's part of the reason why i-LEAD XL features a more simple interface and a single log-in now with the new Control Panel. This should save people time. If you remember, before, there were several different log-ins for each tool (listing enhancement, site updates, etc.) We've also added a lot of personalization that should help agents create a powerful presence online more simply and naturally for their tech skills.
As for the stats, they are right there in a single table on the Control Panel. The main thing the reporting functions help do is gauge the effectiveness of your marketing efforts. It also gives clients an idea of how much exposure their listings and your Web site are getting. So, it's a tool to really differentiate yourself -- "Hey I've sold three homes in your area last year. I used Realtor.com and this is how much traffic they got from people searching online."
We hope that you find the new version of i-LEAD to be a valuable tool and we would welcome any feedback you have about the new product.
