Dipper and Insidetruth, Well, it is refreshing to read your comments. I agree with both of you and thank you for providing your indeepth analogy of the situation. For sometime now Homestore has been running the show at NAR no matter what Mendenhall says or Dear Mr. Goldberg. As for Realty Times and Inman...they are held to "Facts" because their name is attached to a story, whereas the three of us can spout out anything and not run the legal risks that any of the online ezines would face. BUT, if we or other agents/brokers/bankers could provide the powder to blow this open with...then I truly think, if all the facts are in...any smart reporter would take the article and run with it. Oh...do not forget the "whore" mls's who took the homestore money and ran with it as well. They (the MLS's) sold out the agents and still do if they (The MLS's) are on the Gold Alliance! But then again, that is an opinion and my opinion only! Once the banks get involved and the insurance companies...hell, forget the agents in the long term, it will all end up as agents being customer service representatives. Almost like FSBO's with a local broker handling it! RE/MAX forsale by owner Inc. or Prudential Sell it yourself ... Later...keep your knowledge coming!
