As you can see from my tag, I did complete the first course and rather quickly, obtaining a '500' designation. Although I was originally excited about being 'chosen' and then paying : ) grin.... I frequently became angry at the clumsiness of the offering. My motivation was high so I continued, and I learned new tricks. Motivation is the at the core of most tasks. As with all education, there are those who really want to learn, those who know they need to learn something to obtain something else,( or someone is telling them they HAVE to complete a task), and those who could care less and will parry and thrust their way through life. The challange is to design a class for everyone, or make the designation difficlult to obtain and therefore meaningful. With so many 3-letter alphabet soup designations/certifications swirling around, it will take a 3x5 business card soon to print the tags. Hmmmm.... I have an idea that in the future, in order to obtain the designation 'Realtor' one will have to complete most of the alphabet designations first. 'Realtor' may then be accepted as educated in the business.
