Were Homes.com Salespeople Left Holding The Check?
Response to Tiger

Though my earlier comments were harsh towards sales at homes.com (rightly so based of their selling tactics) I do not want to seem harsh towards the actual individuals who make a company like homes.com function and run day to day. It is, and I agree very sad for the employees to suffer for the mistakes of upper management. BUT how can you ask the brokers and the agents to hang in there simply on pity? We work very very hard for the dollars to feed our families and pay our bills. So you ask US to hang in there to fuel more dotcom waste and let Bob Prince and the rest of the management take my money...sorry Tiger. Homes.com has lawsuits stacking up. Homes.com is funneling SOLD listings to the classified sections on the internet, just to keep their name "homes.com" above all other listings (this bit of information came from within, and done so for advertising dollars based on traffic hits). This practice puts the listing agent in the cross hairs for a lawsuit themselves! And what about the fact that our listings, all broker and agents listings are not being picked up on a regular basis now? So you want me to put my money in, and continue to do so with a company that is using unethical tactics to stay alive and place myself and my agents at risk? Hell I can not even get someone to pick up the telephone at customer service at homes.com! It does not matter anymore if the product is good or bad...it does not function properly...the mail servers are even down now..so where are my agents leads coming from when a home buyer wants to request information? Hell on that fact we hardly received any leads in a year's time! So with all the unethical tactics they have pulled now, where did my agents leads go over the last year? My bet is sold for cash to a referral company! No Tiger...business can be harsh...and you knew far more about homes.com then you are letting on about...that is why you left! My apology to the hard working individuals at homes.com, your mangement was filled with greed and unethical character. Your sales group did you wrong. Bob Prince and Homes and Lands care very very little about you and your family!
