Joe -- Thanks for your note. From various sources it is apparent that a number of appraisers, like you, have elected not to continue with FHA work because of liability issues. Given the broad scope of HUD claims regarding appraiser "inspections" I am not surprised by your response, or the response of other appraisers. All the best. Peter
