What I am noticing in Fort McMurray is, more homes being listed each day than are going condition/pending. This doesn't necessarily mean it's a strong buyers' market. I feel it's just the time of year, what with kids just getting back into school and sports programs etc... In fact a lot of the new construction prices have actually increased in the past 3 months and with interest rates staying down it could be a great time to buy if you've been on the fence. Or at least to get a pre-approval done to lock in your rate.
