Currently in the Master Planned community of Ocotillo, there are: 42 traditional listings 4 lender owned 5 short sales 3 other/misc. The amount of lender owned and short sale transactions in the 4th quarter of 2011 totaled 30 in all. This took many distressed sales off the market.
Sales in the 3rd quarter of 2011 closed at $129.52 a square foot in Ocotillo. Sales in the 4th quarter of 2011 closed at $123.26 a square foot in Ocotillo. This decrease was obviously attributed to the amount of short sales and foreclosures.
