Sales in Phoenix were up 57% vs 2007 for December 2008 ( -6% YTD) as the market appears to be turning the corner! If you are "thinking" about buying a home now may be the perfect time with rates still at historical lows, prices are down and supply up. . There are currently around 14042 homes and condo's for sale in Phoenix, which is roughly a 13.5 months' supply. The average cummulative days a home stays on the market before it sells is now 139(last year it was 127 days). Total 2007 sales dropped 37% vs 2006.
